1. Medical Disclaimer & Assumption of Risk

Masks of the Soul is a spiritual, somatic, and creative integration retreat. It involves deep emotional processing, systemic constellation work, and physical movement. You explicitly acknowledge that Lilly Kirsten is not a licensed psychotherapist, psychiatrist, or medical doctor. This experience is designed for self-exploration and is not a substitute for professional therapy, psychiatric care, or medical treatment for severe mental health conditions. By registering, you confirm that you are psychologically and physically fit to participate in this group field.

2. Confidentially Agreement

What is shared within the field stays within the field. By entering this retreat, you explicitly agree to maintain absolute confidentiality regarding the identities, personal stories, traumas, and breakthroughs of all other participants. You are welcome to share your own breakthroughs with the outside world, but you may not share the stories or experiences of your fellow sisters.

3. Health & Physical Liability

You choose to participate in all retreat activities—including but not limited to somatic movement, ecstatic dance, and outdoor nature immersion—at your own risk. The organizer (Lilly Kirsten) accepts no liability for any physical injury, illness, emotional distress, or health risks incurred during or after the retreat. Participants are solely responsible for managing their own physical boundaries and well-being.

We highly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel and health insurance for your trip. Please ensure your policy covers international travel, trip cancellations, and medical expenses within France, as your personal health insurance may not provide coverage abroad.

4. Travel & Logistics Responsibility

Participants are entirely responsible for organizing, booking, and financing their own travel to and from Château de Bénac, including flights, train tickets, and airport transfers. The organizer is not liable for any travel delays, cancellations, missed connections, or associated financial losses. We highly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance that covers trip interruptions.

5. Booking Policy

Application vs. Confirmation: Filling out the initial application form and booking a 15-minute alignment call is completely non-binding. A participant’s spot in the retreat container is only officially secured and taken off the market once the full payment has been successfully processed following the alignment call.

Cancellation & Refund Policy: Due to the highly intimate nature of this container (limited to 10 spots) and our strict financial commitments to the venue, all payments are subject to the following policy:

  • Cancellations more than 60 days before the retreat: You will receive a full refund of any amount paid beyond the initial non-refundable deposit.

  • Cancellations between 30 and 60 days before the retreat: You will receive a 50% refund of any amount paid beyond the initial non-refundable deposit.

  • Cancellations less than 30 days before the retreat: No refunds or credits will be issued. At this stage, your spot cannot be easily filled, and all venue and catering fees have been fully paid.

  • "If you are unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances, you may transfer your spot to another woman, provided she passes the 15-minute alignment call with Lilly at least 7 days before the retreat begins."

6. Force Majeure & Cancellation by the Organizer

While it is our absolute intention to gather as planned, if the retreat must be canceled or rescheduled by Lilly Kirsten due to reasons beyond our control (such as natural disasters, unexpected venue closures, or sudden health emergencies):

  • Retreat Fees: You will receive a 100% full refund of all payments made directly to us OR you will be given the choice to transfer your 100% balance to newly rescheduled retreat dates.

  • Travel Expenses Disclaimer: Please note that the organizer is not responsible or liable for any personal travel expenses you may have incurred, including non-refundable flights, train tickets, or travel visas.

Because of this, we heavily emphasize the absolute necessity of purchasing comprehensive Travel Insurance with Trip Cancellation coverage at the time of your booking. This protects your travel investment in the extremely rare event that we must cancel the gathering.

7. Dietary Requirements & Allergies

While the organizer will make every effort to accommodate dietary preferences and allergies communicated during the application process, participants with severe, life-threatening allergies take full responsibility for cross-contamination risks. The organizer and the venue catering staff are not liable for any allergic reactions sustained during the event. Participants are required to bring any necessary personal medical epipens or medications.
